HB25-1118 Catalytic Converter Replacement Exemption

If you’ve been affected by catalytic converter theft, we need your voice! Together we are stronger and louder—you can make a difference!

HB25-1118 Catalytic Converter Replacement Exemption is scheduled to be heard this Thursday, February 27th at 1:30pm in the Energy & Environment Committee. We cannot stop emailing them if we want this bill to pass, which will allow us to reduce our costs when replacing catalytic converters. Hi, My name is ___________. I live in ___________, Colorado. I am contacting you today to ask your support of HB25-1118. Catalytic Converter theft continues to be a problem in Colorado. The mandated parts that are only available through a California manufacturer are delayed and expensive. This legislation allows consumers to use after-market parts that are non-carb certified. They are more affordable (almost 10 times less expensive), and they pass emissions tests here in Colorado. They are EPA compliant and safe for use.

The bill goes before your Energy and Environment Committee this week on Thursday, February 27. Please vote yes to help consumers and businesses dealing with this issue.
