Hi, my name is ______. I live in ______ Colorado. I am calling you today to ask your support of HB25-1118. Catalytic Converter theft continues to be a problem in Colorado. The mandated parts that are only available thru a California approved manufacturer are delayed and expensive. This legislation allows consumers to use aftermarket parts that are non-carb certified. They are more affordable (almost 10 times less expensive) and they pass emissions tests here in Colorado.
They are EPA compliant and safe for use.
This bill is in your Energy and Environment Committee on Thursday, February 13. Please vote yes to help consumers and businesses dealing with this high cost issue.
