For thirty years the CIADA has grown as an association due to strong leadership from George Konrad and most recently, Jerry Fay. Jerry had a passion for the car business and helped many dealers during his tenure. He was respected nationally and represented Colorado effectively on major issues.
 
Jerry was all about the members of the CIADA and constantly looked for new benefits. His motto was "If it doesn't help the smallest dealer, we can't use it." He worked behind the scenes to make sure unwarranted legislationthat would burden the independent dealer was not passed.
 
Jerry was the most respected Executive Director in the country and had a huge influence in putting Colorado on the forefront for state associations. Mike Linn, Executive Director for NIADA, said of Jerry, "He was not only a great asset to the Association in Colorado, but equally at the national level and he will be greatly missed."
